BS 5852-2006:Methods of test for assessment of the ignitability of upholstered seating by smouldering and flaming ignition sources 用悶燃和燃燒點火源對軟座進行防火性能評定的測試方法
BS 5852用于判定當受到一燃燒香煙和火柴或等同的火源，材料組合的可燃性（如軟座的覆面和填充材料）。
在英國所有款式的家庭軟墊家具必須符合“家具防火安全條款”，1988的修訂BS 5852*一部分和BS 5852第二部分被BSI撤銷，但仍用于所述引用標準提到的條款。
