焊接工藝評定：通過對執行工藝焊制的試板進行力學性能和其它性能的試驗，驗證工藝規程的正確性和合理性。
焊工資格評定：由需要進行評定的焊工焊制符合規定的試板，對試板進行無損檢測和力學性能試驗，來驗證焊工加工完好焊縫的能力。
