The Ropeclimber hoist is intended to lift one or two people. It is fix to a bosun chair or to a platform, to allow safe acccess at height on a building or structure in order to clean or perform work on a facade. The Ropeclimber has the following components a battery powered hoist, a fall arrest device, a suspension rope and a secondary safety rope. The Ropeclimber hoist is powered by a 48 V battery. This battery has an autonomy of 500m while going up and it partially recharges the battery when going down, efficiency 50%. The control of the hoist is done by a control box. The controls include the Emergency Stop, the Up button, the Down button and a RGB LED that indicates the state of charge of the battery as well as the state of the machine. The Ropeclimber hoist is equipped with a top limit switch in case there is an obstacle at the entrance of the rope. There is an overload device that electronically controls the load and stops the movement in case of overload. A fall arrest device will stop any fall if the primary rope is broken or the rope is slipping in the traction pulley. The primary rope that is used for suspension is a rope conceived specifically for the application and has to be supplied by FALLPROTEC. The secondary rope to be used with the fall arrest device is a semi static rope as per diameter 11-12 mm |
