指令Directive 2008/112/EC和法規 (EC) 1336/2008通過修改以下列出的方面來實施GHS：
委員會指令76/768/EEC（化妝品）；委員會指令88/378/EEC（玩具安全）；
委員會指令1999/13/EC（某些活動和設備中使用有機溶劑產生的揮發性有機化合物的釋放限制）；
指令200/53/EC（報廢車輛）；
指令2002/96/EC（廢棄電氣和電子設備）；
指令2004/42/EC（某些顏料、油漆和汽車修補涂料產品中使用有機溶劑產生的揮發性有機化合物的釋放限制）；
法規(EC) No 648/2004（洗滌劑）。
