雅思口語考試中有兩大考點，分別為時態的考點和詞匯的考點。以下筆者重點和大家分享在措辭上應該注意什么。
在第二部分卡片題目當中，遇到定語一定要注意詞匯替換。比如
Describe a time you went to a place crowded with people.
You should say
Where it was
When you went there
What you did there
And explain why you went there / how you felt about the crowded place.
題目中的擁擠考官是想看該考生會不會有其他的統一替換，如果再做陳述的時候一味的CROWDED ，就很難給考官留下好的印象。而擁擠其實有多重表達方式 比如詞匯的替換
unbelievably crowded,thronged
the roads were so congested
又比如可以用側面表達法，去烘托這個地方很擠，這樣語言表現力就會有大幅度提升。
I mean, I knew that there would be a lot of people, but I never expected to see that many!
Although looking back on it now, I suppose what made it worse was the fact that I was traveling during rush hour, so it was a lot more crowded than I’m sure it would have been during off-peak times.
And when I saw how packed the train was when it was pulling into the station, I remember thinking there was no way I was going to be able to get on.
I was in a bit of a hurry, coz I was actually already running late, so I had no choice really but to join the huge queue of people waiting. Anyway, I did somehow manage to make it onto the train, but I was pressed up against people on all sides, so it was pretty uncomfortable to say the least! I mean, it was absolutely heaving, and I literally couldn’t move at all!
有上述例子大家可見詞匯的替換絕對可以讓你的雅思口語增色不少，傲視群雄。同樣的概念還可以應用在其他題目中，比如describe something that makes you happy . 這個題目需要大家就HAPPY進行統一替換，比如
I was over the moon .
I was ecstatically happy.
I felt so delighted and cheerful.
It was hard to say how happy I was .
Truth be told ,that is one of the most impressive moments I have ever had.
