單機試運行屬于工程施工安裝階段的工作內容。確因受介質限制或必須帶負荷才能運轉而不能進行單機試運行的單臺設備，按規定辦理批準手續后，可留待負荷試運行階段一并進行。中小型單體設備工程一般可只進行單機試運行。
