著時代的不斷發展，以及大眾對產品能效關注的不斷加強，為了便于消費者查詢產品的能效信息，歐盟也建立了自己的能效標簽產品注冊系統EPREL, 對產品供應商來說，這意味著產品在進入歐盟之前，又有了新的要求，EPREL注冊的關鍵信息如下：
EPREL系統做登記 （歐盟能效標簽產品注冊）時間節點：
1.在2019年1月1日之后，歐盟能效標簽授權法案范圍內的產品，進入歐盟市場之前， 供應商（制造商，進口商或其授權的代表）需要在EPREL系統做登記 (歐盟能效標簽產品注冊)
2.在2017年8月1日到2019年1月1日期間進入歐盟的產品，則需要在2019年7月1日之前完成在EPREL系統(歐盟能效標簽產品注冊)登記。
在2017年8月1日之前進入歐盟的產品，客戶可以選擇自愿性登記。
- As of 1 January 2019,suppliers (manufacturers, importers or authorized representatives) need to register their appliances,which require an energy label in the European Product Database for Energy Labeling (EPREL),before selling them on the European market.
- For products placed on the EU market between 1 August 2017 and 1 January 2019,their registration can be done until 1 July 2019.
- For products placed on the EU market before 1 August 2017, their registration is made on a voluntary basis.
需要登記在數據庫上的信息包括：能效標簽、技術資料及符合性證明。
Product information to be entered in the database relates to the energy label, technical documentation and compliance information.
需要注冊的產品范圍如下：
空調，烹飪電器，洗碗機，加熱器，燈具，燈泡，局部空間加熱器，家用制冷設備，專用制冷設備，固體燃料鍋爐，電視機，滾筒干燥機，輪胎，真空吸塵器，住宅通風設備，家用洗衣機
- Air conditioners; - Cooking appliances (domestic); - Dishwashers (household); 
- Heaters (space and water heaters); - Lamps; - Local space heaters; 
- Refrigerating appliances (household); - Refrigeration (professional);
- Solid fuel boilers; - Televisions; - Tumble dryers; - Tyres; - Vacuum cleaners;
- Ventilation units (residential); - Washing machines (household);
從2019年第2季度開始，消費者可以通過EPREL數據庫查詢到產品能效標簽和信息。
Consumers will be able to search the EPREL database for energy labels and product information sheets as of the second quarter 2019
