XY-4巖芯鉆機(jī)主要適用于固體礦床的金剛石、硬質(zhì)合金勘探鉆進(jìn)，也可用于工程地質(zhì)與水下勘探；淺層石油和天然氣開(kāi)采，以及礦山坑道的通風(fēng)、排水等鉆孔。

XY-4巖芯鉆機(jī)與一般類型油壓鉆機(jī)比較具有下列特點(diǎn)：
1. 鉆機(jī)具有較高的轉(zhuǎn)速和較合理的轉(zhuǎn)速范圍，轉(zhuǎn)速級(jí)數(shù)較多，低速扭矩大，適合小口徑金剛石巖心鉆進(jìn)，也能滿足大口徑硬質(zhì)合金巖心鉆進(jìn)和各種工程鉆孔的要求。
2. 鉆機(jī)重量較輕，可拆性較好。鉆機(jī)可分解成九個(gè)整體部件，*大部件僅218千克，便于搬遷，宜于山區(qū)工作。
3. 結(jié)構(gòu)簡(jiǎn)單布局較合理，所有部件均表露在外，不相互重疊，便于維護(hù)、保養(yǎng)和修理。
4. 鉆機(jī)具有兩個(gè)反轉(zhuǎn)速度，處理事故時(shí)勞動(dòng)強(qiáng)度不大，且安全。
5. 鉆機(jī)移車平穩(wěn)，固定牢固，鉆機(jī)機(jī)架堅(jiān)固，重心底，高速鉆進(jìn)時(shí)穩(wěn)定性好。
6. 配有儀表，利于掌握孔內(nèi)情況，操縱手柄較少，布局較合理，操縱靈活可靠。7. 鉆機(jī)與泥漿泵采用單機(jī)分別傳動(dòng)，機(jī)壢布置比較靈活，可減少機(jī)場(chǎng)面積。

I. General
XY-4 Core Drill is a new type high speed diamond core drill, designed according to the development of geological work in China and developed to meet the requirements of clients.
XY-4 Core Drill can be driven by Deutz F4L 912 diesel engine or 30KW electric motor. The drill has 8 rotary speed stage, the Max, speed 1588 rpm, the min speed 101 rpm, so it is suitable for various drilling for solid mineral deposits with diamond or tungsten-carbide tipped bit.
It is also suitable for engineering geological subterranean water explorations as well as explorations of shallow layer oil and natural gas, and can be used to drill holes for ventilation and drainage of main gallery.
